Pulso Variable Book
In most musical traditions, tempo is conceived as a constant line, sustained by the metronome and measured with mathematical precision. However, in many world musics, especially Afro-Latin ones, the pulse breathes, shifts, and transforms. Pulso Variable, a pedagogical proposal, redefines how we understand rhythm. Based on Afro-Cuban claves, this system invites the musician to listen differently, recognizing that each accent has its own energy, its own micro-tempo, its own universe.
